The steps outlined below are the general steps or stages of a typical search. They will vary based on your individual goals and preferences, and on the nature and complexity of your search.

· Develop an understanding of the candidate

· Help establish needs and goals

· Review resume

· Research and identify target companies

· Prepare candidate for all interviews

· Debrief candidate and company after the interview and share feedback

· If an offer is made, assist in negotiating all issues affecting employment such as compensation, employment contracts, relocation, etc.

· Maintain active communications with the candidate and company until acceptance and until the initial date of employment is established

· Maintain ongoing communications with candidate.
